AGEMA thermovision 210/MX Infrared Imaging System, OR EQUAL. Components included: THV Scanner, Viewfinder, Battery Charger, Attentuater Set (3 piece), Shoulder Strap, Belt (for battery) Battery Pack, Nied, Belt Mounted; Transport Case, Lens Cover and Operating Manual. SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS: (a) Applications will require high reliability and fast start-up times. System shall be cooled via Peltier type thermo-electric cooling. No compressed gas, liquid nitrogen or closed cycle coolers accepted. (b) Solid state infrared detector. No panning, polling or mechanical chopping required. System shall not bloom with high intensity temperature change. Image duration shall not exceed 1/20 of a second (no ``ghosting''). (c) System shall be completely self contained, with total weight not exceeding five (5) pounds including monitor/viewer, battery and imager. (d) Applications will require mostimages in real time. Since temperature variations will be small, the system shall have a demonstrated noise equivalent temperature difference without frame averaging of .1 degree C @ 30 degrees C. System dynamic range 788 db minimum. (3) System to include SONY GV-300, OR EQUAL, portable monitor and 8mm video recorder. Any or equal system must not increase weight/size. (f) System to include NTSC Standard Video Out. (g) System to include Freeze Frame for difficult evaluations and comparisons. (h) Minimum resolution shall be 2.25mr @ 50% srf subtending 160 resolvable elements per line @ 50% srf. (i) Minimum resolvable temperature difference .1 degree C @ 25 degrees C. (j) Field of view 8 degrees Vertical by 16 degrees Horizontal, accessory lenses should be available for long distance evaluations. (k) Battery life 4 hours, power consumption 7 watts. (1) Height 4'', Width 8'', Depth 3''. (m) Design shock tolerance 25G's, Designed Vibration Tolerance 5G's. (n) Temperature Range -20 degrees F to 1475 degrees F. (o) Operating Temperature 14 degrees F to 135 degrees F. System performance shall not degrade with lower ambient temperature. (p) Water Resistant and Splash Proof. (q) Fingertip Controls: Brightness, Contrast, Freeze, Invert, Focus & Power. Requirement is for Two (2) each.
