The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) plans to issue a solicitation for Fisher-Tropsh Dispersion Wax, dispersed in a oxidative drying, quick-set varnish for use in the manufacture of ink in accordance with BEP Specification No. W: FT-1B, Dated June 5, 1995. The contract type will be a Firm Fixed-Price, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity. The period of performance will be one (1) 12-month base period plus two (2) 12-month option periods. Estimated quantities for deliveries to the Washington, D. C. facility are 130,000 lbs for the base year, 140,000 lbs for option year 1 and 150,000 lbs for option year 2. This contract will be a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The Standard Industrial Classification Code for this procurement is 5169 with a corresponding Small Business size standard of 100 employees. The solicitation will be ready for issuance on or around October 3, 1995.
