NASA Lewis Research Center intends to purchase software for the acquisition, design, develop and deliver courseware and classroom material, shall provide student handbooks, exercise manuals, projectable visual aids, popup computer development guides, and complete teacher manuals. Shall design, develop and deliver a train-the-trainer program that will enable an in-house (NASA Lewis staff member to effectively deliver the Training Courseware), shall be a 3 day course that will enable NASA developers to immediately begin to develop successful applications using Borland's Delphi for Windows software and Delphi Tool Components and software applications that have been developed during the classroom training intervention. Utilize the learn-by-day instructional paradigm, learn-by-doing to build, in class a group of 12 to 14 software tools that are reusable to participants incorporate instruction on the application of human factors and user-centered design techniques into the process, learn-by-doing design creation of 7-10 software tools. Conduct a complete walk-through of training in advance to meet on site 3 times during design for a minimum of six full working days. Shall provide and identify published instructional texts to each participant, and provide Delphi software to each participant in advance of the class. Delivery to Cleveland, Ohio 44135. Delivery schedule is 34 calendar days after contract award. The date set for receipt of proposals is approximate. NASA intends to purchase from Software Usability Specialists, Inc. This procurement is a 100 percent small business set-aside. Suppliers of identical or equivalent items may submit data to demonstrate their ability to satisfy this requirement. Such data must include, as a minimum, a complete listing of items, complete specs to identify item/system capabilities in sufficient detail to permit a technical evaluation, pricing date (including all applicable discounts), GSA non-mandatory schedule contract number (if applicable) a point of contact (name and telephone number), business size, prompt payment terms, freight charges if FOB origin, and number of days required for delivery and installation, if applicable.
