The Naval Center for Space Technology located at the Naval Research Laboratory(NRL) in Washington, DC has a requirement for engineering and technical support for continued development, maintenance, and implementation of space, communication and tracking systems. The scope of the work includes space/avionics systems program documentation, systems engineering, systems analysis, systems effectiveness, production, design and development, advanced concept demonstrations and other associated efforts required by NRL's space systems development department. The statement of work will be included with the solicitation. Offerors must have demonstrated experience and demonstrated ability to provide qualified personnel in performing the specified tasks. Prior to contract award, a contractor must have a Top Secret Facility clearance, Secret storage capabilities, and personnel available with DoD granted personnel security clearances commensurate with the level of access required for contract performance. The majority of the tasks will be performed at the contractor's facility however a portion of the tasks must be performed at the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) in Washington, D.C. The Government anticipates award of an indefinite quantity indefinite delivery cost reimbursable contract with a 60 month contract life.
