F -- WATER QUALITY SUPPORT SERVICES FOR THE WATER PLANT AT FORT BRAGG, NC SOL DAKF40-95-R-0039 DUE 101595 POC Contract Specialist SUE COURINGTON EXT 231 (910) 396-4362 (Site Code DAKF40) The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials and transportation necessary to provide water treatment chemicals and services for corrosion in the potable water distribution system. The Contractor shall be responsible for altering the composition of the delivered water by the addition of chemicals (Glassy H Phosphate (20.8% as P2 Os) and Zinc Chloride (49.5% as ZN CL2)) to reduce corrosion and cause the potable water utility to operate within the mandates of the Lead and Copper Rule. This contract will be for the period 01 Jan 96 through 30 Sep 96 with four one-year option periods. Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued on or about September 15, 1995. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 8734.
