EG&G Florida, Inc., intends to procure on a sole source basis, services form BSC, a Division of Banctec USA, Inc., for the maintenance of the following reproduction equipment for the period January 1, 1996 through December 31, 1996. Items include: 1 ea. Documate IV (under 50K/IPM), S/N 4035, with Microcomputer w/display and keyboard, S/N 531-9131826, TPS-2612F Title Preparation Station S/N 531-9420829, CFF 7204 Computer Forms Feeder, DF-40 Document Feedercount S/N R01735, 2 ea. LS-3000 S/N A515 and A534. Full service maintenance shall include all parts, labor, monthly PM, and travel necessary to maintain the equipment. The intent of this synopsis is to determine if any other source(s) exist, therefore, no RFP is available. Interested firms are invited to submit a response within fifteen (15) calendar days after publication of this notice which must include prices and technical data sufficient to determine capability to meet the requirement. Telephone responses will not be considered. Responses to this notice will be used to determine whether competition exists and whether a formal RFP is appropriate.
