The work includes providing technical and management services to the U.S. Department of Energy, Nevada Operations Office (DOE/NV) in support of programs and projects under the cognizance of the Offices of Assistant Manager for: Environment, Safety, Security, and Health (AMESSH) and Operations (AMO). This support includes effort for the DOE/NV environment, safety, health, quality, alteranate energy, and emergency management/nonproliferation functions. Areas of general support include development and evaluation of environment studies and programs; development of scopes of work for inclusion in requests for proposal; development of planning and control programs, conduct a pollution control studies; assistance in geology, hydrology, and other programs, participation, as independent team members providing advise to the DOE team leader, in audits, appraisals, inspection technical reviews and surveillances; and assistance in technical record management, occupational safety, industrial hygiene, fire protection; project development and strategic business line support; development of procuedures/documentation/processes to support emergency management/nonproliferation responses and day-to-day management program areas; conducts or provides support for conduct of compliance reviews, assessments, and evaluations of DOE/NV operations and activities, provides support to DOE/NV's Office of Primary Responsibility for development of draft orders/guidance documents and for mechanisms intended to evaluate, improve, or modify those documents; and other areas as identified by DOE/NV in relation to AMESSH, AMO and other responsibilities.
