Follow-up to the satellite broadcast of 28 June 1995, which highlighted rules created as a result of Federal Acquisition Streamlining Act (FASA) of 1994. The follow-up broadcast has been scheduled for 28 Aug 1995 and will cover the status of 9 of the 11 FASTA Teams, to include: Contract Award, Special Contracting Methods, Audit, Cost Principles, Ethics, Truth in Negotiations, Protest/Disputes, Contract Financing/Payment, and Commercial Contracting. The briefing is intended for contracting officers, contract specialists, procurement analysts, purchasing agents, small business specialists, comparable uniformed personnel, and industry counterparts. Please select appropriate personnel from your organization to attend. The broadcast will be from 1200 to 1600 and the last hour or so will be a question and answer period in the Rocket Auditorium. Seating capacity will be limited and will be on a first-come first-serve basis. Contractors should limit attendance to 3 (three) representatives. Hand-out material, in the form of an agenda/outline and vugraphs will be available as you enter the auditorium.
