(202) 307-3223. The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking bids for the
cleaning and polishing of marble and brass located in the stairway and
lobbies of four floors of an existing ten story government building
located at 320 First Street, N.W., Washington D.C. Contractor will be
required to provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the
cleaning and polishing. Work includes but is not limited to cleaning
and polishing marble and brass, raking and regrouting all joints of
travertine, and repairing damaged marble. All work is to comply with
all National Standards, Governmental and local building codes. All
contractors desiring consideration will be required to have extensive
knowledge of the District of Columbia Government Building Codes,
General Services Administration requirements, previous and comparable
experience in cleaning and polishing brass and marble. Contractors
desiring consideration shall submit request for solicitation in writing
within 30 after the date of this synopsis. The requirement will be a
100% set-aside for small business. All responsible sources may submit
