Nagel, Kaiser-Hill Company, L.L.C., FAX (303) 966-8335 or 8337 This is Amendment No. 1 to the previously issued Kaiser-Hill Company, L.L.C. (contractor) Pre-Solicitation/Pre-Qualification Notice dated August 8, 1995. The following changes, (A) through (C), amend the previous Pre-Solicitation/Pre-Qualification Notice. (A) The sentences ''Multiple awards are contemplated in two broad work categories consisiting of Environmental Clean Up and Nuclear Facilities. Offeror may propose on one or both work categories as identified by the Request for Proposal (RFP) to be issued at a later date.'' are hereby deleted and replaced with the new sentence ''Multiple Awards are contemplated in one broad scope of work area including both Environmental Clean Up and Nuclear Facilities, as identified in the Request for Proposal to be issued at a late date.'' (B) The sentences, ''A/E and construction management are under SIC code 8741 with a $3.5M SB size standard. Construction is under SIC code 1541 with a $17.0M SB size standard.'' are hereby deleted and replaced with the new sentence ''SIC code 8744 with a 500 employee size standard is applicable to this acquisition.'' (C) The Pre-Qualification Criterion sentence ''(1) INTENT TO PROPOSE - Identify Offeror's intent to propose on the AE/CCM.'' Under Pre-Qualification criteria (2) Project Experience - the following subparagraphs are replaced in their entirety: ''(c) D&D of nuclear facilities to include both design and construction (NOTE: 3 projects required and only for Offerors intending to propose on Nuclear Facility Work.)'' is hereby deleted and replaced with the new sentence ''(c) D&D of nuclear facilities to include both design and construction (NOTE: 3 projects required.)'' The sentence ''(g) Restoration of RCRA and CERCLA facilities and sites (3 projects required) and only for Offerors intending to propose on Environmental Clean Up work).'' is hereby deleted and replaced with the new sentence ''(g) Restoration of RCRA and CERCLA facilities and sites (3 projects required)''. The sentence ''(h) Special nuclear facility projects (3 projects required and only for Offerors intending to propose on Nuclear Facility work)'' is hereby deleted and replaced with the new sentence ''(h) Special nuclear facility projects (3 projects required)''. The closing date for receipt of Pre-Qualification submittals is hereby extended from 8/21/95 to 8/31/95. Please note the new mailing address and FAX numbers. Except as amended by this Amendment No. 1, all other provisions of the Pre-Solicitation/Pre-Qualification announcement remain unchanged. Telephone calls will not be accepted. No further project specific information will be furnished. Pre-Qualification submissions must be responsive to the CBD requirements, as amended.
