The Air Force Flight Test Center has a requirement for the fabrication of high pressure isolation and pressure control valves for a test stand at Phillips Laboratory, Edwards AFB, CA. Project requirement is a minimum of 6 valves with a future need of an additional 21 valves. The requirements shall include both manually operated and remotely operated valves. The valves shall be used in Liquid/Gaseous Helium environments. Some valves may have internal operating pressures up to 10,000 psi. All valves shall be fabricated in accordance with ANSI/ASME B16.34 standards. All valves will require 100% radiography of all welds. The valves will be fabricated, inspected, and cleaned internally, and packaged for shipment to Edwards AFB. Interested contractors must be able to demonstrate technical experience in the fabrication of a similar requirement. The procurement is very rigid as to material specification and drawing compliance; proposals will be subjected to evaluation based on their content and awardee shall be subjected to on-site inspection by Government representatives after contract award during production.
