Richmond (206) 968-4915 (Site Code DADA13) Low temperature sterilizer not to exceed 110 degrees fahrenheit. Sterilizing agent shall not be ethylene oxide or steam. Sterilizer shall be a minimum chamber size of 6 cubic ft. with a minimum usable volume of no less than 5.5 ft. Shall not require more floor space than 7 ft. by 7 ft., and shall weigh no more than 1400 lbs., uncrated. Contractor shall provide all materials and installation of a remote bank and tank change system for the sterilization agent if it is supplied from a tank. Sterilizer shall have an approval from the FDA to market the device in the United States as a sterilizing device. Contractor shall provide epidemiological studies to demonstrate efficacy of sterilization of a variety of materials. The contractor shall be responsible for validation of the sterilization process. Estimated issue date is on or about 8/30/95. All responsible sources may submit a technical proposal which will be considered. (0230)
