Follett, Contract Specialist, 202/366-0714, Richard Lieber, Contracting Officer, 202/366-4954 The U.S. Dept. of Transportation (DOT) intends to issue a delivery order against a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA), for commercial on-line database and information retrieval services established by the Federal Library and Information Network (FEDLINK). FEDLINK is a cooperative program sponsored by the Federal Library and Information Center. Using FEDLINK BOAs, federal agencies may obtain database and information retrieval services directly from commercial services. These BOAs offer substantial price discounts not otherwise available to individual customers. FEDLINK operates under the Library of Congress Delegation of Procurement Authority, granted by the General Administration. The Delivery Order will be issued with Mead Data Central LEXIS/NEXIS under the interagency agreement, executed by DOT/OST and the Library of Congress.
