COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF AUGUST 22,1995 PSA#1415R&D CONTRACTING DIVISION, Bldg 7, 2530 C STREET, WPAFB OH 45433-7607 A -- AMENDMENT: AIRCREW PROTECTION REQUIREMENTS SOL F33615-95-R-1752
POC JOHN R. SHOCK, CONTRACTING Officer, WL/AAKD, (513) 255-5252/2206.
Amendment of RDSCP Notice. Questions regarding Statement of Work.
Paragraph 2.2.1.a of Section C, Statement of Work states: ''The
contractor shall use real experimental data for analysis validation.''
Question: ''does the experimental data refer to all the requirements
of this paragraph or some subset thereof? Is the contractor expected to
have already taken this data? If so, is the contractor required to have
taken data on a gimballed pointer and tracker containing a typical EOCM
source against a suitably instrumented high speed aircraft? Does the
Air Force expect the contractor to take these measurements as part of
this effort? Answer: ''This would refer to any subset, or all data that
a contractor would have knowledge of or possess. There will be no funds
to collect this data under this effort. The point is that in some way,
the contractor needs to validate the statistical analysis with
experimental cases, at least minimally, in order to give credence to
their ability to predict statistical results for the cases in question.
The more data available the better.'' This question and answer is sent
to all sources. It does not have an impact on the due date for
proposal submission. (0230) Loren Data Corp. http://www.ld.com (SYN# 0002 19950821\A-0002.SOL)
