Kay, Contracting Officer Disposal of Government owned street, off road, and oversize tires. Contractor to provide continuous (M-F) carry-in service for all types of tires. Government agencies to deliver tires to the contractor via the Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office (DRMO) on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. Delivery must be to a location on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. The Government estimate for tire turn-in is: FY96: 23,160, FY97: 25,476, and FY98: 28,024. The contract performance is for the period of 1 January 1996 through 30 September 1996 with two (2) 12 month option periods. Contractor must meet all applicable regulations and laws pertaining to the disposal of tires. The Government intends to include the option clause FAR 52.217-8 in the solicitation.
