Herting, 202/326-4160 Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) intends to award a sole source contract to Maya and Associates to continue services for the support of database and configuration management functions. Services are required for the design, development, testing and maintenance of all tasks involved with relational databases on all PBGC client/server platforms using ORACLE7 and mainframe database CA-DATACOM/DB. It includes the technical lead for recommending and implementing applicable systems and applications software packages, including but not limited to ORACLE7, CA-DATACOM/DB,Endevor/MVS, Powerbuilder 4.0, Infomaker 4.0, Oracle Government Financials 10.5, Oracle CASE, Oracle Designer 2000 1.0, Oracle Developer 2000 1.0, Oracle Server Manager, and SQL*NET V1 and V2. The responsibility requires expert knowledge in the installation of all product releases and updates on all PBGC operating platforms. This is a continuation of services being provided by the contractor who has a high degree of knowledge pertaining to specific IRM systems within PBGC including Case Administration System, Prension and Lump Sum, individual Participant Valuation, and Participant Record Information System. In view of the contractor's familiarity with these areas, it is in PBGC's best interest for Maya to continue providing these services to ensure continuity and expertise necessary for timeliness of project completion.
