Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, tools, equipment and supplies necessary to furnish and install a new complete automatic sprinkler system in Building 200, of the Department of Veterans Affairs, Edward Hines Hospital, Hines, Il. (Hines Il., is located approximately 13 miles west of Downtown Chicago). Work will include, but is not limited to demolition of designated areas, the furnishing and installation of a new 750 GPM AND 1000 GPM fire pump, and the removal and replacement of ceilings and lightng systems. All work will be performed in accordance with the specifications, drawings and all applicable codes and standards. Bid documents will be available after August 24, 1995, by written request to the Contracting Officer, accompanied by a refundable deposit check of $35.00. Bidders are STRONGLY encouraged to attend the site visit planned for August 31, 1995 at 1:30pm local time. Bid opening date is scheduled for September 26, 1995 at 1:30pm local time. Estimated cost range is $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00. SIC= 1711 $7ML. Award is subject to the availability of funds. Award is subject to a 90 day acceptance period.
