The Government intends to procure the following requirements: One (1) each 100 BHP Low Pressure (15 PSI Max.) Steam Boiler, to be equipped with a Natural Gas Low NOx Modulating Firing Rate Burner capable of meeting Kern County Air Pollution Control Disrict (KCAPCD) Rule 425.2 for over 5 million BTU's boilers as described in the following specifications: 115 VAC control circuit, with boiler controller; low water cut-off, manual reset; combination low water cut-off, pump control, water column, sight-glass and three (3) try-cocks; pressure actuated safety valves; two (2) pressure controllers, one to be manual reset; overall boiler length including burner and any associated equipment not to exceed 13.5 feet; boiler width (including gas train, and boiler safety controls) not to exceed 7.5 feet; boiler height (to include any requested safeties) not to exceed 8 feet; boiler/burner will have a flue gas recirculation (FGR) system; gas train must meet or exceed California/Kern County requirements; all associated blower motors must be 460 VAC, 3 phase; burner is required to modulate automatically throughout low fire (25%) to high fire (100%) of rated input; burner will operate with a maximum of 15% excess air throughout firing range; burner will emit no more than 30 PPM of Nitrogen Oxides (NOx), on a volume basis, throughout the firing range; burner will emit no more than 30 PPM of Carbon Monoxide (C0) throughout the firing range; burner will be fully factory firetested, including FGR systems prior to shipment. Services for the steam boiler, to inlcude: adjust burner to meet KCAPCD Rule 525.2 to take place on site 30 days after boiler delivery to the site and provide combustion analysis data to show that the burner meets requirements. This requirement is 100% set-aside for small business. SIC Code is 3443. Size Standard is 500 employees. FOB is destination. Delivery is 14 days after award.
