Contractor will furnish all equipment, materials, plant, and labor necessary to provide and install an Ultra High Pressure Waterjet Coating and Rust Removal System capable of removing Chemical Agent Resistant Coating (CARC) paint and surface rust from CCAD engine, transmission, and component containers. Work also to include pre-engineered metal building. Other applications of the waterjet system shall include the removal of paint, rubber, grease and grime, and metal spray coatings from the surface of engine containers and selected aircraft components. Options include: additional pump capability & capacity, additional training, and annual service contract. If a large business firm is selected, the firm must comply with FAR 52.219-9 regarding the requirement for subcontracting plan. Fort Worth District's goals are that a minimum of 60.3% of the contractor's total intended subcontracted amount be placed with small businesses (including small disadvantaged and woman-owned businesses); 9.8% of the total subcontracted amount be placed with small disadvantaged businesses; 2.9% of the total subcontracted amount be placed with woman-woned small businesses; and 5.5% of the total subcontracted amount be placed with historically black colleges or universities/minority institutions.
