The Naval Submarine Support Facility New London requires two ball valve machine kits for use on top loaded ball valves in line in any position or angle. Item 0001 kit is for use on 4 inch ball valves. Machine shall: bore and face ball valves in line, remove equal amounts of metal from both faces of the valve, be capable of boring metal surfaces, epoxy and stainless steel seats holding dimensions to within .001 inches, have constant built-in angle of degree micrometer fitting allowing cut adjustments from .001 inches up to 4 inches, be powered by air motor with 90 to 125 PSI supply and minimum motor turn of 80 RPM. Item 0002 same specifications with exception: for use on 3 inch ball valves. Each kit shall include at a minimum: ball valve machine, motor, 2 tool bits, allen wrenches, drive shaft and carrying case. Each shall fit through a 22 inch diameter circle without disassembly.
