Rouse, Contracting Officer on (301) 344-3174 The USDA, ARS, intends to request a written quotation, and negotiate with M/H Group for 700 VS COM/Window Emulation and Document conversion/file transfer, with manuals and diskettes, and license, for the National Agricultural Library (NAL), Beltsville, Maryland. This requirement is not available through any other source. M/H Group, a small business, is the only known responsible source (in accordance with FAR 6.302-1) able to provide the licensing, software, manuals, and diskettes. Anticipated award date is September 20, 1995. No telephone inquires will be accepted. Interested parties should submit written responses including prices and technical data sufficient to determine capability to meet the entire requirement and must be received in this office within 15 calendar days after publication of this notice. It should be noted that no contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice, but will be used to determine if a comparable source more advantageous to the Government is available.
