The Pharmacy Department at Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii has a requirement for a CD ROM Information Database that offers a collection of databases that can be tailored to meet clinical needs. The system shall provide the most comprehensive compilation of medical and health care information databases of its kind. This system should be accessible through Department or facility-wide mainframe systems, local area networks (LAN's) or personal computer single or multi-user systems. This system will be used extensively to facilitate information access by acute care and emergency health care providers. RFP DADA16-95-R-0049 shall be issued o/a 25 Aug 95 and close o/a 25 Sept 95. A Requirement Type Contract is anticipated with an option to extend the term of the contract (4) additional years. The Government intends to negotiate solely with Micromedex Inc, 6200 S Syracuse Way, STE 300, Englewood, CO 80111-4740 for a firm-fixed-price, under the authority of FAR 6.302.1.
