ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE BUFFALO, NY AREA SOL 082530-95-A-0101 DUE

203-285-7184. The US Postal Service is seeking Mechanical and
Electrical Engineering Services for the preparation of drawings,
specifications, cost estimates, and construction administration
required for small repair and alteration projects in the Buffalo, NY
area. The USPS may, at its option, include Title II (Construction
Services). The contract will be subject to negotiation of individual
work orders. In each instance, total fees for services will not exceed
$100,000.00 for each task, nor will the total fees for the 12 month
term exceed $500,000.00. Each contract will have a base term of two
years with three 1-year renewal options,(a total possible contract term
of 5 years), with the total contract amounts not to exceed $2,500,000.
There is no guaranteed minimum. The average work order is estimated
between $1,500 and $10,000. The USPS reserves the right to make
multiple awards. Firms which possess the qualifications to perform the
services described above are invited to submit a completed SF 255,
''Architect-Engineer and Related Services Questionnaire for Specific
Project,'' and a completed SF 254, ''Architect-Engineer and Related
Services Questionnaire,'' to the office shown above no later than
October 3, 1995. The selection will be conducted with the combined use
of SF 254 and SF 255. Interested firms with more than one office
should indicate on their SF 255 the staffing composition of the office
in which the work will be performed. Consideration will be given to
interested firms who respond to this advertisement in accordance with
the foregoing instruction in the following order of preference: 1)
Local, residing in the Buffalo, NY area; 2) The States of NY; 3. All
others. Architectural and Engineering firms will be considered as local
only if their sole office is in the local geographical area or they
have a local branch office and all of the architectural design,
coordination and management of the project will be accomplished in that
office. Firms submitting their qualifications should have on their
staffing the following registered disciplines: MechanicalEngineer,
Electrical Engineer. All the aforementioned must be licensed in the
state of New York. Participation of Minority Business Enterprise is a
consideration in the U.S. Postal Service architect/engineer selections.
It is prohibited to pay any fee, commission, percentage or brokerage
fee to any person or firm contingent upon, or resulting from, award of
