USAISSAA intends to negotiate with I-NET, Inc., Bethesda, MD. to continue services performed under contract DAHC94-91-D-0003 to convert approximately 33 million additional paper and microfiche images from personnel records located at the ARPERCEN, St. Louis, Mo., and the Enlisted Records Evaluation Center (EREC), Ft. Benjamin Harrison, Indianapolis, IN, to the Personnel Electronic Records Management System (PERMS); an interactive optical digital imagery system. The PERMS document matrix must be utilized in determining which records or parts of a record should be converted, and how to index them. The converted images and index data must be compatible with the PERMS. All work must occur at a facility within 25 miles of ARPERCEN using primarily commercial off-the-shelf equipment/software, at a rate of 5.5 million images per month, and be completed by September 30, 1996.
