(202) 433-3672. The Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station has
a requirement to procure federal information processing (FIP) support
resources which will include but are not limited to: Business process
re-engineering, and functional process improvement (FPI) support;
requirements definition: Design, Development, and Deployment of new
automated information systems (AISes); maintenance of existing AISes;
customization and installation of government-owned and/or commercially
available off-the-shelf (COTS) software; preparation of AIS AND LCM
documentation; evaluation, procurement, installation, and testing of
commercially available hardware and software; preparation and
presentation of user training and training manuals, system
administration, database administration, software configuration
management; and hardware and software integration. The contract will be
for a base year and four one-year options. FAR CLAUSE 52.217-8 is being
included to allow up to six additional months coverage if needed. Best
value source selection will be used to award the contract. The
contract type is Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee Indefinite Delivery Indefinite
Quantity, labor hours estimated at 899,912 hours. A secret clearance is
needed. This requirement is being offered for competition limited to
eligible 8(a) concerns. SIC CODE 7379 applies. Interested 8(a) firms
are encouraged to request a copy of the solicitation as expeditiously
as possible since the solicitation will be issued without further
notice upon Small Business Administration (SBA) acceptance of the
requirement for the section 8(a) program. Primary place of performance
will be at Naval Computer and Telecommunications Command, BLDG 143,
Washington Navy Yard, Washington, DC. A pre-proposal conference will
