A -- SUPPORT OF AN ISO SUBCOMMITTEE FOR SPACE SYSTEMS AND OPERATIONS SOL W-10-82070 POC Diane Harris tel: 202/358-0410/Richard Weinstein 202/358-0538 NASA Headquarters intends to award a purchase order to American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) to support the Technical Committee 20, Subcommittee 14 (TC 20, SC 14) ''Space Systems and Operations''. TC 20, SC 14 is the only International Origanization for Standardization for establishment of standards for intrenational trade and commerce. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within twenty-five days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is soley within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. (0235)
