Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate this procurement with McDonnell Douglas Corporation, McDonnell Douglas Aerospace, P.O. Box 516, St. Louis, MO, 63166-0516. MDA is the designer, developer, and sole manufacturer of the Harpoon/SLAM weapon system and the only known firm with the necessary knowledge, data, equipment, facilities, and experience to perform this effort within the required timeframe.
