Bid Clerk, JC Norris, (619)553-4331. This procurement action is for the repair and upgrade of an existing Traveling Wave Tube Amplifier (TWTA) system. The contractor, Applied Systems Engineering Inc. (ASE), will replace the TWT (tube) in the amplifier which has failed. In addition, the contractor shall upgrade the existing system to extend the operating frequency range from 8.0 to 18.0 GHZ. The upgrade shall include a new driver amplifier, new circulator and broad bandwidth coupler, and replace the existing coaxial transmission components with WR750 waveguide, 1 JOB.
