70 -- SOFTWARE LICENSE RENEWAL SOL ATD-124-YHF-95/1227 POC Contact Yvonne Flippo, 205/544-3066 Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) intends to negotiate with SAS Institute on a sole source basis for the renewal of SAS software licenses which are currently running on a Government-owned Amdahl 5995-4670 and an IBM 3090-200J located at the Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC), Alabama. The software products include Base SAS, SAS/Graph, SAS/C, SAS/Assist, SAS/Connect, SAS/ETS and SAS/AF. The term for the software license renewal is October 1, 1995 through September 30, 1996. Interested persons have 15 days from the publication date of this synopsis to submit their qualifications/capabilities (i.e., technical specifications, brochures and price lists) in the critical areas mentioned above. Such qualifications/capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a full and open competition basis. Responses received without the required information will be considered nonresponsive to the synopsis. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this synopsis. A determination by CSC not to compete this procurement on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this synopsis, is solely within the discretion of CSC.
