The FAA Technical Center has a requirement for an XTAR Superfalcon 4000.IG2, two channel Image Generator, which includes: 14 slot passive backplane chassis, 300 watt power supply, additional cooling fans, cpu card with 66 MHZ 486 processor, 4 MB DRAM, serial/ parallel ports, IDE interface, VGA card, VGA monitor, Ethernet card, 12 MBYTE 5 1/4'' floppy and 425 MBYTE IDE hard disk drives, keyboard, (2) XTAR FA4000-1-M-NM Geometry accelerators, (2) XTAR PG2000-16M-1024 high resolution graphics boards, XTAR 3DVIEWIII-4000 software library, DOS, and manuals. This is a Sole Source Procurement. All responses must be in writing. In the absence of responses from firms that believe they have the capabilities to satisy this requirement, the FAA Acquisition Office intends to make an award to XTAR Electronics Inc., 10635 Scripps Ranch Blvd., Suite F., San Diego, CA 92131-1026, on a noncompetitive basis for the requirement described above. Mere indication of interest is not sufficient. An acceptable response must show you have the ability to complete the requirement on a satisfactory basis and that you have the necessary skills, qualified personnel, experience and past performance in simiar work.
