22243-2170. The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a class of
orders to Raytheon Corporation under Spare Parts Control Center (SPCC)
Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00104-88-G-A092 for the repair of
spare and repair parts, retention of parts removed during the repair
process and failure analysis, including a repair (failure) report, on
the removed parts for the Operator Interactive Display Terminal (OIDT)
and its component parts which are part of the TOMAHAWK Cruise Missile
Weapon Control System (TWCS) pursuant to the authority of Title 10
U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source. The Government does not
own the data package necessary to compete the proposed procurements.
Raytheon is the designer, developer and sole manufacturer of the TWCS
OIDT and is the only source with the personnel, facilities and
knowledge to perform the effort in the required time frame. The period
of performance for this requirement will commence on 01 October 1995
and continue through 30 September 1996. The dollar value of this
requirement will not exceed $60,000. See note No. 22 - NAVAIR Synopsis
