The purpose of this acquisition is to pro-vide quality training in support of the United States Army chemical destruction and remediation activity (usacdra) through 1 April 2004 in accordance with current treaty compliance. The contract will be awarded as a five year contract with a three year option. The basic contract will provide for the mobilization period of approx. 01 Jul 1996 thru 30 Sep 1996 and operation period of 01 Oct 1996 thru 30 Sep 2001, the option period will be from 01 Oct 2001 thru 30 Sep 2004 and shall provide for Operations and closure. The estimated price range is over $10 million. The successful contractor will be reponsible for analyzing the work required and determining training require-ments, developing training material to meet objectives, providing testing & evaluation support of the Field activities, maintain the training Center complex and providing simulator software maintenance. A preproposal conference will be Held on or about 11 Sep 95. A COST plus award Fee contract is contemplated.
