MacDill AFB intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Worldwide Aircraft Recovery, Ltd. to procure services to relocate a KB-50 aircraft from the USAF Museum at Wright Patterson AFB, OH to MacDill AFB, FL. Work includes disassembly, packaging, transportation, and reassembly at MacDill AFB. SIC is 4213. This proposed contract is unrestricted. Only companies with experience during the past 5 years of disassembling, packaging, transporting, and reassembling vintage aircraft will be considered. This is a one of a kind aircraft. Due to time constraints all potential offerors are required to submit their documents substantiating their technical capability to perform this highly technical and intricate service.
