Harvey (205) 235-7558 (Site Code DAAC01) Furnish and install a Radio system (network), narrow-band (12.5KHz), digital, encrypted, trunked, consisting of mobiles, portables, desktop base stations, CRT control consoles and an infrastructure that will route all audio so the system will be digital from the transmitting radio to the receiving radio. The wide area voice system (network) will consist of three transceiver sites and one satellite receiver site. All sites to be connected by microwave links back to the prime site controller except for the satellite receiver site which will be linked to another building. Microwave links shall operate in the 7100-8000 MHz band. System shall utilize commercially available Data Encryption Standard (DES) encryption compliant with Federal Information Processing Standards 140 (FIPS 140), General Security Requirements for Equipment Using the Data Encryption Standard (formerly Federal Standard 1027 (FS 1027)).
