This public notice is also to request that any suppliers wishing to participate as a subcontractor in the procurement program of this product should declare their intentions to that effect. This public notice is not intended to guarantee public notification of procurement of the product. (1) Name: Digital cordless telephone system (1) Overview: The product consists of a digital cordless telephone and/or terminal equipment of personal handy phone systems, both of which are stipulated by the Japanese radio regulations. The product should include systems that possess the following characteristics: System that consists of one or more base stations and one or more personal stations (terminal equipment). System than can be connected to PSTN, ISDN and/or other wireline networks. System that can be connected to PHS networks utilizing RCR-STD 28 standards. System for non-voice signal transmission, such as data communications (III) Contents of RFI: NTT is inviting the following types of information on a product or technology similar to the above-mentioned system. Once information is offered, these are regarded as non secret one, and it is possible that these information is opened to the public in procurement or used by others. NTT is not responsible for controlling, opening and using of the information. l0-2 Description of Request for Information NTT requests the supply of the following information on similar products, or on technology relating to the product mentioned. All supplied information will be regarded as non-secret information and may be disclosed to third parties in the form of, for example, inclusion in the corresponding Procurement Documentation, or may become available to third parties. (4) Others. a) Development and manufacturing organization of the company to cope with request for modification to current products. b) Company provided maintenance support. c) Plans for future development and enhancement. d) Any other proposals. (IV) Request for Declaration of the Intention of Participating as a Subcontractor. Any suppliers wishing to participate as a subcontractor in the product procuremet program of NTT, are requested to supply NTT with the information listed below. After preparing a list of supplied information, NTT will provide the list to suppliers who wish to be provided with it, to those who have responded to the request for supply of the information listed and to those who have purchased the Procurement Documentation relating to procurement of the product.
