negotiate with Princeton Instruments to purchase one thermoelectric
cooled InGasAs photodiode array, which consists of a minimum of 512
elements, 50 micron spacing (element-to-element mid-point distance), 38
micron wide by 250 micron high element dimension, Grade 1 or A with at
least 98% active elements, aray to be vacuum sealed to prevent icing
and condensation at cooled temperatures, spectral response of 800 to
1700 nm, exposure time variable from approximately 10 mn to 1000
seconds, scanning rate minimum of 32 usec per diode, must have the
capability of not requiring external gas (nitrogen) flushing; one
direct memory access detector control; one imaging spectrograph with a
maximum focal length less than 200 millimeters, entrance slit to be
interhcangeable widths of 25, 50, 100 and 200 micron, and despersion
shall be between 40 nm/mm and 25 nm/mm at diode array; and one windows
based spectroscopy software. The operating temperature should be
between 60 F to 100 F, humidity 50% to 90%. Request for Quotation (RFQ)
packages will be made available on or about August 31, 1995, from the
address above BY WRITTEN REQUEST ONLY. This requirement is being
procured under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures and is set aside
from small businesses. To qualify as a small business, you shall have
