Fogarty, (215)823-5872 VAMC Philadelphia announces the intent to award a sole source contract with MUMPS Audio FAX, 37 West Ave., Suite 203, Wayne, PA for a Medical Interactive Telephony Package. This system will be installed on the existing DHCP Alpha Cluster and will run with minimum operator intervention in that environment. It will provide automated telephonic clinic appointment reminders, notify patients of canceled clinics and allow patients interactive telephone access to pharmacy prescription refill information. This system will use information contained in and extracted from existing DHCP modules with no modification to those existing modules. System is to be integrated with the Legacy DHCP System and system reports will be accessible from all interactive connection points (terminals and pcs). The system will be capable of making 1000 calls to patients within a four (4) hour window daily. The system will provide 24 hour access to prescription refill information and have the ability to notify patients immediately in the event of a clinic cancellation. This award is being made under sole source contract due to the proprietary nature of the software. No solicitation document exists. Requests for such a document will be considered nonresponsive. Interested parties must submit a capabilities statement, including detailed pricing information that delineates the ability to meet the stated requirement. If no written affirmative response is received within fifteen (15) days from the date of this notice, award will be made to MUMPS Audio FAX. No telephone request will be honored.
