Officer, (904)234-4863. The Coastal Systems Station Dahlgren Division,
NSWC, has a requirement for an Indefinite Quantity contract for RDT&E
services to provide for simulation, stimulation, emulation and
performance modeling capabilities in support of programs falling within
COASTSYSTA's mission areas. One of the primary areas of activity is the
development and evaluation of weapons and countermeasures. To support
the weapons and countermeasures activity, specific simulators,
stimulators, emulators, and performance models, as well as
environmental, target, and prototype models are required. The fields of
physics that these models will reflect are environmental and
signal/field acoustics, electro optics, pressure, magnetics, and
hydrodynamics. The main systems at COASTSYSTA that will be supported by
this contract include the Countermeasures Evaluator (CME), the Navy
Mine Warfare Simulator (NMWS), and the Mine Warfare Simulator (MSIM).
It is anticipated that this contract will have a base year with four
one-year options. Interested parties should submit a written request
