(619) 939-4234. The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China
Lake, CA, intends to procure engineering, technical and logistical
support services and repair parts for the U.S. Navy Flycatcher 40VS
Radar system on an other than full and open competition basis from
Hollandse Signaalaparatten, B.V., a Netherlands Corporation who is the
original equipment manufacturer of the Flycatcher radar system. System
documentation is proprietary to Signaalaparatten. The contractor shall
provide per call software, hardware, engineering and technical
support, as well as any required training. Work includes maintenance
assistance, preventative maintenance, failure analysis,
troubleshooting, disassembly and repair of electrical and mechanical
systems and subsystems, integration and debugging, ECP's, interface,
returned item repair. etc. In cases where immediate assistance or
repair parts are required for emergency repair, oral ordering will be
utilized. The contractor shall provide all necessary repair parts, as
well as all hand tools, fixtures and/or unique tooling and test
equipment required for system repair except for those tools and
equipment which will be made available for the contractor to use when
system repair is being performed onsite at China Lake. The contractor
shall provide summary reports of each at-the-factory or on-site repair
event. The contractor shall also study any proposed changes and
improvements to the system and provide a written analysis of the study.
Work will be performed either on site China Lake or at the contractor's
facility. On site locations may vary depending on where system is
deployed. This could be another military installation either within or
outside of the United States. Contractor personnel will be required to
obtain and maintain a secret security clearance for work performed on
site. Work will be performed through the issuance of individual
delivery orders. The shipment of repair parts/supplies will be on an
FOB origin basis. The period of performance is three years plus two
one-year options. The government contemplates a fixed price services
type of contract. Written requests for the solicitation may be made to
