Project includes: construction survey & staking; construction scheduling; contractor sampling & testing; 32,000 metric ton hot asphalt concrete pavement; 3 hectare clearing & grubbing; 2,450 metric ton untreated aggregate courses; 42,500 metric ton emulsified asphalt treated aggregate base; 1,202 meters culverts & drains; 1,493 meters underdrain; 700 meters silt fence; 2,500 cubic meters watering; 6,126 meters guardrail; 17.85 kilometers road reconditioning; 295 meters riprap lined ditch; 3,000 hr pilot car/flagger; 54,315 meters permanent pavement markings; and other small items of work. PRELIMINARY PLANS will be available on or around October 2, 1995. Fixed completion date is October 15, 1996. Estimated price range is $2,500,000 to $5,000,000. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, performance and payment bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80% guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
