Hite, 303-275-5274, Contracting Officer Christine O'Guin The project will include providing all material, equipment, and labor to make the improvements to the sewage treatment plant at the Ouachita Job Corps Center in accordance with the plans and specifications. Major components of the Contract include installation of a new 24,000 gpd ''package'' treatment plant including and 8,000 gallon surge tank and a 3600 gallon sludge storage tank. Construction of a new sludge drying bed and a combination chlorination tank and measuring weir. Installation of piping in the plant to facilitate the new equipment and facilities. Installation of utilities to serve the plant and new equipment. Construction of a new laboratory/storage building with all specified utility connections and amenities. Construction of sidewalks, stairs, and slabs as shown on the drawings. Construction of new fencing and the incorporation of existing fence to provide security to the new facility. Installation of security lighting and new water hydrants. The removal and disposal of existing facilities that are replaced or otherwise rendered obsolete by the new facilities installed in this contract. Site work including the removal of one tree and other vegetation, and seeding the disturbed areas. Project is located on U.S. Highway 270, 12 miles west of Hot Springs, Arkansas. Price range is between S100,000 and S250,000. Contract time is 105 calendar days. All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered. (0237)
