BROWN, Tel:505-524-5134 NASA JSC White Sands Test Facility intends to award a firm-fixed price indefinite quantity contract for a maximum of 40 graphite epoxy composite overwrapped pressure vessels for a joint Air Force/NASA test and evaluation program. The program has been initiated to test space flight qualified graphite epoxy composite overwrapped pressure vessels including spherical composite overwrapped pressure vessels with aluminum liner. The pressure vessels will be subjected to potential operational anomalies like aerospace fluid exposure and low velocity impact. The acquisition i is supported by a Justification For Other than Full and Open Competition The approved source is Lincoln Composites, Lincoln, NE. Firms that recognize and can provide the required pressure vessels described above are requested to identify themselves in writing to Vernon Brown @ 505-524 5130(fax #) Each firm must provide detailed supporting evidence which wil l substantiate their claim and allow for participation. It is anticipated that a solicitation will be issued on/about September 25, 1995.
