BROWN, Tel:505-524-5134 NASA JSC White Sands Test Facility has a requirement for 50 flight weight qualified graphite epoxy composite overwrapped pressure vessels as part o of a joint NASA Air Force test and evaluation program. The program has been initiated to test space flight qualified graphite epoxy composite overwrapped pressure vessels with a seamless aluminum liner. The pressure vessels will be subjected to potential operational anomalies like aerospace fluid exposure and low velocity impact. This acquisition is supported by a Justification For Other Than Full and Open Competition. The approved source is Structural Composites Industries, Pomona CA. Firms that recognize and can provide the required pressure vessels descri bed above are requested to identify themselves in writing to Vern Brown @ Fax # 505-524-5130. Each firm must provide detailed supporting evidenc e which will substantiate their claim and allow for participation. It is anticipated a solicitation will be issuedon/about 9/25/95, all responsibl e sources who can satisfy this criteria are encouraged to submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
