P -- DEMILITARIZE CONVENTIONAL AMMUNITION POC JAMES K. WATANABE, (808) 449-3877. This is a Sources Sought Synopsis to provide services for the Demilitarization of conventional munitions through the use of contractor services. Presently, there is authority to demilitarize 24,000 M-117 bombs (750 lb) located at Andersen AFB, Guam. The Government is interested in a contractor to demilitarize the conventional munitions in place by providing a turn-key operation on Andersen AFB, a contractor facility on Guam, or other cost effective recommendation. In addition, the intent of the Sources Sought Synopsis is to obtain information on technologies available to accomplish this task. Request qualified contractor(s) submit a synopsis with associated literature they would use for the demilitarization of the M-117 bombs on Guam. Replies are due within 30 days of this announcement.
