Steven Honeck, USAF 12 CONS/LGCS Randolph AFB TX 78150-4525 intends to purchase one each of alodine evaporator system (Calfran VTU-150 or equal). The purpose of this evaporator is to separate alodine chromates from water. System includes stainless steel reaction coil, vacuum feed port, stainless steel condensing coil, vapor tube, product water collection area, vaccum pump, product water pump, concentrate/slurry pump, waste feed inlet, product water discharge outlet, concentrate/slurry outlet, hermetically sealed refrigeration compressor, air cooled condenser, easy access controls, and removable cover. System will handle capacity of 150 gallons per day and 39,000 gallons per year (based on 260 work days).
