70 -- SCSI BASED RAID SYSTEMS WITH NFS FILE SERVERS SOL ATD-124-TA-95/1236 POC Contact Tom Antoniel, (205)544-5087 CSC intends to award, via competitive solicitations, a firm fixed priced subcontract for 2 RAID Systems for Silicon Graphics Challenger XL Computers. Each ''Master'' RAID System as configured shall contain 2 NFS File Servers w/cabinets and 3 SCSI based RAID Systems containing a total of 50, four (4) GB SCSI Disk Drives, or 200GB's per system. Each master RAID system shall be expandable to a min of 1.6TB total capacity; have battery backup; provide complete redundancy of controller components; support RAID levels 0, 0+1, 1, 3, and 5; provide hot swapable repair for disk drives, storage processors, power supplies, and fans; support Internet protocols TCP/IP, NFS, or open networking; support ISO-9660 CD format; support application protocols NFS, TFTP, TELNET, LOCKD, PCNFSD, BWNFSD, and SNMP; and various other requirements as shall be identified in the solicitation.
