The estimated construction period is 629 calendar days and it is estimated a construction contract will be awarded in September, 1995. The Testing Laboratory contract will be in force for the duration of the contract including any time extensions. It is mandatory the testing laboratory meet the following minimum qualifications: a. Principals of the testing laboratory must be registered professional engineers with not less than five years experience in the types of testing required under the contract. b. Each person in charge of laboratory testing, field testing, and inspection must have not less than one year full time experience in the duties performed under the contract. The types of testing include: earthwork, aggregate base, asphalt concrete, concrete, reinforcing steel, mortar and grout and inspection services. Solicitation will be issued approximately 9/12/95.
