Q -- LABORATORY TESTING SERVICES SOL 542-1-96 DUE 101395 POC Contracting Officer, John Cox, (215)383-0203 This VA Medical Center is seeking proposals from professional laboratory testing firms to provide services to VA Medical Centers located at: Coatesville, PA; Lebanon, PA; Philadelphia, PA; Wilkes-Barre, PA; East Orange, NJ; Lyons, NJ; Wilmington, DE; and Perry Point, MD. Contractor shall provide laboratory services to include pick-up and transport of specimens to its laboratory, preanalytic processing as defined in its laboratory users manual, analysis, reporting of analytic results, and consultation regarding selection, collection, transportation and result interpretation. The contractor must provide all necessary supplies not limited to requisition forms, specimen containers, dry ice and appropriate containers, special instructions, current list of tests with reference ranges and specimen requirements. The contractor must be able to meet Turn-Around-Times as stated in the solicitation. The contractor must also provide VA Laboratories with a means of communication to permit immediate inquiry regarding the status of pending tests. The contractor must provide Licensing and Accreditation as stated in the solicitation prior to award. The initial term of the contract will be twelve (12) months with two (2) option years. All requests for this solicitation must be in writing. No verbal requests will be honored. Requests for copies of the Bidders' List will be responded to via U. S. Mail.
