The work of this contract consists of providing housing for approximately 100 concessioner employees at Crater Lake. The central building will be approximately 27,000 square feet, two-story plus partial basement, steel and wood framed structure with dormitory rooms, lounges apartments, an elevator, and cafeteria and kitchen. Two seasonal dormitories will contain dormitory rooms and lounges, each approximately 9,300 square feet, steel and wood framed two-story structure with crawl space. An approximately 4,300-square-foot, concrete block and steel-framed garage will provide covered parking and house an emergency generator. Site work includes clearing and grubbing, grading, landscaping, and installation of a temporary irrigation system. Site utilities include a new water reservoir, underground telephone, electrical, water and sewer and a storm water collection and drainage system. Paved access roads, parking areas, RV loop, and pedestrian/bicycle paths are also included. Bidders are urged to attend a site meeting to examine preliminary drawings and specifications and examine the site while weather conditions permit. The site meeting will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, October 19, 1995. Meet at the Sager Building (Park Headquarters), Crater Lake National Park, Oregon.
