The Flight Simulator/Academic Facility is approximately 62,000 SF. It is configured to support Flight Simulators, academic classrooms and instructor space for the KC-135 mission qualification and continuous training. The facility includes a high bay area for six training devices along with instructor offices, administrative area, environmentally controlled computer areas, academic classrooms, mechanical and electrical service equipment, maintenance area and support area. Construction materials will consist of structural steel and masonry superstructure with concrete piers and grade beam foundation, concrete floors and a standing seam metal roof. The project includes parking lot and access roads, landscaping, site utilities improvements. Estimated cost range of this project is from $5,000,000 to $10,000,000. An advance non-refundable fee of $97.50 for half size and $157.50 for full size is required for each set of specifications.
